Blanc du Bois Harvest

We harvested 8 tons of grapes yesterday. We hired 24 people who started at 7am and quit at 5pm. My neighbors Betty and Jeff helped and my Great Aunt came down from Enloe to babysit Lucy. We are all sunburned and tired with a few cuts on our hands and some fire ant bites here and there but we had a great time. We had all the fixins for sub sandwiches and I boiled 56 eggs which were all eaten, my Auntie made a million cookies and we had oranges and apples for everyone. I was working so hard that I forgot to take pictures until the end of the day. I'm so bummed about that, I kept thinking I should take pictures then forget! Bummer. But this gives you an idea of what 8 tons of grapes look like. Can you tell how tired I was, my eyes aren't even open.
