Noni's Visit

Noni came for a visit last weekend and Lucy wanted to show her all her favorite places in San Diego. We took her to "Bamboo Park" or some like to call it Balboa Park to see the Koi fish, the Japanese Tea Garden and for a Trolley ride.
We also went to the "beach park", aka Fanuel St. Park.
Noni, Demetria( the newest housemate and massage therapist), Lucy and I went to the Ocean Beach Kite Festival, Lucy made a terrific kite and flew it down the street. We had a hot dog and Lucy decided to eat the bun, she says she can eat wheat now, 2 days later she has a nasty rash and bathroom issues. I think she is rethinking the idea of eating wheat. I was hoping she wouldn't have the allergy anymore, either. She wants to be like baby Lilly and eat anything and everything. It is a real challenge living with so many people in this house and not being able to control the home environment. My brother-in-law has 1/3 of the freezer taken up with corn syrup + artificial flavored and colored ice pops. They are in full view everytime I open the freezer, Lucy has had amazing self-control and I have healthy options for her but occassionally really wants one. Ugh! I digress, this is supposed to be a post on all the fun things we did with Noni.....
We had yummy Thai food at Thai Village, the best Thai I've ever eaten outside of Thailand, yes been there a couple times in my past life. The steamed veggi salad is a must!
We had Mexican at a"healthy" place in OB and YUCK, the next morning we went to Tacos Mi Rancho and had delicious Huevos Rancheros. Yumm...
We relaxed alot and enjoyed Noni's company, playing babies and hungry hippos.
We are so happy you came Noni!!!! thanks again for doing my huge pile of laundry!!!!!
We are looking forward to seeing you at our little house on the vinyard in Texas!

Aww, kite flying sounds fun! Would love to see Lucy's kite. And I love, love, love Thai, so we will have to go before you leave for home!
