Here's our vineyard after a freeze. We hope all the leaves fall off before December 26th when we start pruning each and every vine by hand back to the arms with 3-4 inch fingers with 3-4 buds each. And this photo shows only 4 rows of the 40 we must complete before January 12th when Lucy and I get on a plane for Tucson to visit Grandpa. And when Gardner gets in our Volvo with 400,000 miles and drives with all our stuff to meet us. AHHH the Great Migration! Going to warmer weather in San Diego! Are we a family of birds?!?
Yes, here are my two snowbirds! We have had so much fun this fall playing together! It is sooo nice to have the time to just hang out for a while before Gardner has to go back to work in San Diego.
