Sight Seeing in San Diego

We visited our friends in the mountains a couple weekends ago. The mountains quietness and peacefulness were refreshing and I started to yearn for my quiet home in the middle of nowhere Texas, so far away from noise, family stress and DRAMA. I'm ready to go back and relax, plant a garden and live in the grapes.

Lucy and her friend Qora play beautifully together as long as Evie and I aren't in the same room with them. "I want this, no I had it first, it's mine, ect, ect, ect." Have any of you experienced this? Bickering only when mommas are around?

Lucy and I went to the Wild Animal Park on the following Thursday with Mandy, Olivia and Violet. Lucy and I rode the carousel 8 times. I was dizzy. Lucy was in heaven. Olivia and Lucy had great fun playing on the grassy hills. Saw lots of animals and rode a tram around "Africa".

Last Wednesday we made our way down to La Jolla cove to seal beach. The waves were large and the mommas and baby seals were adorable. Lucy was entranced by the waves crashing on the rocks.

What else should we do before we go back to Texas? Definately the Zoo, maybe Mexico for some vanilla, La Jolla Shores to play in the waves, Torrey Pines for a hike, any ideas?

I'm so jealous of you being in SD! I've read over at Mandy that you guys went out. That's so nice to be able to hook up with each other, Amanda.

Have you tried the Vietnamese restaurant that we went before? If so, eat some for me!! Yummy in my tummy!
