Just an Ordinary Tuesday

Lucy, Demitria and I went to Diamond Street beach this morning and played in the waves. Lucy made a sandcastle and we ate guacamole and Trader Joe's flaxseed chips, yummm.

Lucy took a short nap and then we played with Baby Lilly all afternoon, blowing bubbles under the Pear tree, jumping on the bed and playing with Lucy's train set, which she takes apart and puts back together in many unusual ways. One of her all time favorites is a large cardboard box that she hangs on with her hands and feet, jumps onto like a gymnast and turns around and slides off the side. We played drive-thru restaurant through the kitchen window where Lucy ordered Thai food, noodles, papaya salad and lots of water.

Why do we even bother to buy toys when the kids have so much fun with every day stuff?! And papaya salad sounds so delish now!!
